About: I came across these tulips in the Brooklyn Botanical Garden. I was intrigued by their graceful beauty in the clear relief provided by the deep shadow. Paul Gauguin mused, “Color, like music is a matter of vibrations, reaches its most indefinable expression in nature—its deep inner power.”
The Brooklyn Botanical Garden is among the oldest in the country. The grounds and trees are meticulously cared for and manicured. The images were made with a high-resolution digital camera.
