About: I came across this open sloped field surrounded by trees at the NYBG in 2008. It evokes a peaceful pre-industrial English countryside. A highly respected botanical institution, NYBG is one of the oldest botanical gardens in the country. The grounds and trees are meticulously kept and manicured. The images were made with a high-resolution digital camera.
