About: I found the Serpent in a skateboard ‘pit’; it was 8 to 9 feet across. The extreme wear and tear of thousands of skateboard wheels gives the image an ancient feel, a sense of great antiquity, as if it were a cave painting uncovered at an archaeological dig. But then there is the serpent’s ‘mascara-ed’ eye…
