“When you look at a wall spotted with stains or with a mixture of stones… you may discoverlandscapes, mountains, figures in action, or strange facesan endless variety of objects.”Leonardo da Vinci, The Notebooks of Leonardo da Vinci

I see a work of art as a conversation between an artist and the viewer. I use neutral titles such as Concrete, Metal, or Wall with the intention not to distract or influence how or what a viewer sees or thinks about a given image.

The photographs fall into two categories: Abstract or Narrative. An abstract is an open window that invites the viewer to enter and asks what they see or feel. A narrative tells a story and invites dialogue.
