About: I started photographing surfaces in the street in earnest in early 2002 but only in b&w; sometime that spring, I decided to shoot color. I found this image in the summer of ’02 on the edge of Manhattan’s Chinatown on the side of a panel van, as is… its 

working title is Dragonfly.
